You don't use adblock and flashblock? User error.

(I specifically allowed jalopnik.com to display ads in support of my favorite site, but I still use flashblock here)

What Browser? For Firefox and Chrome it's a user installed plugin, ought to work since it doesn't need to be "installed"... worth a try. After IE gave our users endless fits of incompatibility we finally gave our users Firefox and Chrome to use as well.
